We are looking for an enthusiastic and well organised person, with a talent for remaining calm under pressure and can deliver excellent customer service to members of the public.

Are you looking for an interesting job with lots of variety?
You will join a small, friendly team, that have a busy and exceptionally varied role. You will be handling telephone calls and email enquiries, and creating and managing cases on our bespoke IT system. We also undertake traditional administrative tasks, including use of MS365, and the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Who we are looking for?
We are looking for a self-motivated, confident team player with excellent communication skills. The role requires liaison with customers, local businesses and external agencies by phone and email. You will advise customers and triage a variety of calls received by the Environmental and Regulation department. You will need to have the ability to accurately process payments and be confident when dealing with members of the public. You will be able to prioritise your workload and we will offer training, guidance and support in all areas of the work.
