We are seeking a proactive and organised Environmental Health Administrator to support our Environmental Health team in delivering high-quality services that protect public health and promote environmental wellbeing. This is a key administrative role that ensures the smooth running of day-to-day operations, including case management, data entry and customer service.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide administrative support to the Environmental Health Team.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, including complaints, inspections, and enforcement actions.
- Respond to public enquiries via phone, email, and in person, offering excellent customer service.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage associated documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments and external agencies to support service delivery.
- Monitor and order supplies, manage invoices, and support budget tracking.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a local authority or regulatory environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to manage sensitive data and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- A calm, adaptable, and customer-focused approach to your work.
