Role Purpose
To support the business in achieving its aims and objectives through the delivery of office support for all remediation/asbestos projects.
Responsibilities:
· Organise MGE office duties to ensure that MGE projects are undertaken in compliance with relevant Legislation/Regulations, MGE Policies and Procedures and to the required health and safety standards
· Assist with logging Environmental enquiries on Maximiser and setting up relevant folders
· Notify all Licenced and NNLW works
- Assist asbestos Contract/Remediation Manager to plan/order all labour, plant and materials to ensure safe working practices
- Produce all Purchase Orders for MGE and complete invoicing for all projects
· Assist in compilation of site packs for all projects
· Compile and send close out reports to client upon completion of works
· Compile HSE required information including recording/monitoring of exposure records, personal air monitoring and training needs analysis
· Review returned site folders and ensure all documentation is present
· Compile and track financial information for each project on a monthly basis
· Monitor all training requirements for staff and ensure all training requirements are kept up to date
· Ensure that accident reporting and investigation procedures are followed
· Attend and minute Weekly Operations, Monthly Managers and 6 weekly Supervisor meetings
· Participate in wider objectives of the company
· Adhoc tasks within the department as required
Key Skills:
· Demonstrable successful experience of working in a similar role
· Committed to providing first rate customer service
· Knowledge of relevant Asbestos/Environmental legislation including Health and Safety
· IT Literate – Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook and the use of remote meeting tools e.g. Skype
· Effective communicator, influencer & relationship builder.
· Organisational skills to order and manage personnel, plant, materials etc
· Commercial awareness to monitor financial information for all projects
· Honest & reliable
· Ability to prioritise work and manage own diary – amidst challenging demands on time
· Ability to balance operational needs with best practice
· Full Driving Licence
· Working additional hours as required, by the needs of the business.
