About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Entertainment Editor to join the vibrant and high-performing team behind Britain's best-read women's magazine, with 1.3 million loyal readers every week.
Responsible for securing cover stars and commissioning cover interviews, the ideal candidate will bring a good roster of celebrity interviews in your contacts book as well as the below:
- Proven experience editing the entertainment section of a national newspaper or magazine, ideally a weekly supplement
- Extensive experience commissioning covers and working closely with agents and entertainment PRs
- Great contacts in the world of entertainment PRs and agents
- Demonstrated commissioning and editing experience
- Ability to work full time and be fully office based with a willingness to go out to events and launches, theatre openings, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowing exactly who the right star is for the YOU audience
- Being across all forthcoming film, TV, music, theatre and podcasts
- Running the entertainment coverage in print
- Contributing ideas for online content
- Regular liaison with the Editor and Deputy Editor
