Creating trust - Building belief - Nurturing growth.
At Connections, we believe that the above three values form the bedrock of our approach, upon which all our work is done. They provide the framework for every relationship and interaction within our organisation, enabling us to develop the most effective approaches in our aim to change the story for every child.
We do this through working in partnership with:
- The children's families.
- Staff in their primary schools.
- Support services. e.g. educational psychology.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Pupil Support Assistant to join our dynamic and supportive team in our Intensive Support Service. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with significant social, emotional and behavioural needs.
Our service aims to provide two levels of support.
The first is a shared educational placement for up to ten pupils where the children attend Connections for three days and their school for two days a week. When the children attend their mainstream school on Thursdays and Fridays, our team operate an outreach service where Connections staff work alongside school staff.
The second type of support is an outreach service to support a small number of children on outreach basis only.
This role brings opportunities for personal and professional growth.
