Job Overview
We are currently seeking a full-time on-site role for a Metal Finisher at Northern Blacking Ltd. The Metal Finisher will be responsible for using machinery, applying metal finishes, working on various projects, and maintaining quality standards in metal finishing processes.
Responsibilities
- Use of machinery to carry out metal finishing processes such as zinc plating and chemical blacking
- Maintain high quality standards of processes and finishings
- Utilize tooling to aid in the finishing process
Requirements
- Experience with machinery is a bonus but not essential as full training will be given
- Training in metal finishing processes
- Ability to meet high demand dead lines
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Strong physical stamina for manual labour
- Knowledge of safety procedures in a workshop environment
- Experience in metal finishing industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00 per year
