Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products through rigorous testing processes. This position requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality assurance.
Must have the following criteria met.
- BS7671 qualification amended 2024
- 2391 Inspection and testing qualification
- Gold carded
- Own vehicle
- Own calibrated tester
- Own tools
- Neat and presentable
They must be able to complete the EICR certificate whilst onsite so have their own I Pad, laptop etc. Between 4 and 5 EICR's a day.
Duties
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to understand product specifications and provide feedback on potential improvements.
- Document and report defects clearly, ensuring that issues are tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
- Perform regression testing to verify that previously developed and tested software still performs after a change.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss testing progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices in quality assurance and testing methodologies.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality assurance or software testing is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex systems and identify potential issues effectively.
- Familiarity with various testing tools and methodologies is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
