Electrical Supervisor – Social Housing Maintenance
Location: Stoke on Trent
Salary: £42,000 basic + performance bonus (OTE ~£50,000)
Benefits: Company van + fuel card, 22 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
Schedule: 4 days office-based, 1 day on the tools
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Electrical Supervisor to join our team in the social housing domestic maintenance sector. This role is a balance of leadership and hands-on work — you’ll oversee our electrical teams, ensure compliance and quality, and still keep your skills sharp with one day a week on the tools.
You will be involved in:
- Managing and supporting a team of electricians delivering high-quality work to social housing clients.
- Planning, allocating, and monitoring daily workloads and project schedules.
- Carrying out quality checks and ensuring all work complies with regulations and safety standards.
- Undertaking on-site work 1 day per week, covering:
- EICR inspections
- Domestic remedials
- Boiler wire-ups & heating systems
- Solar PV installation
What We’re Looking For
2391 (Inspection & Testing) qualification
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
ECS Gold Card (preferable)
Proven experience in domestic electrical work, ideally within the social housing sector
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Full UK driving licence
