Synergy care and education are looking to recruit Educational Health Care Assistants to support a wonderful school in Plymouth.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in a variety of settings, including home care and care homes. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of assistance, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals to meet individual patient needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Drive to various locations as required to provide home care services.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and any changes in condition.
- Support patients in engaging with social activities and maintaining their independence.
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
Skills
- Experience in home care or care homes is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in using IT systems for record keeping and communication.
- A caring and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: £95.00-£105.00 per day
Expected hours: 6.5 – 35 per week
