The Education Officer will play a central role in delivering high-quality educational guidance and support for international students and their families, with a particular focus on placements within UK boarding schools and higher education institutions. The role requires close collaboration with educational partners, families, and internal advisors to ensure that students are well-prepared, supported, and guided throughout their academic journey.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning tailored academic pathways, interpreting admission criteria, and advising on school and curriculum selection. They will also support families in understanding the UK education landscape, including application timelines, interview preparation, and expectations around student development.
Key responsibilities include:
· Coordinating education planning for students aged 8–18, from initial consultation through to successful placement.
· Liaising with UK schools and international institutions to stay informed on admission policies and partnership opportunities.
· Monitoring student progress and providing regular updates and recommendations to parents.
· Supporting the development of internal resources and training materials to ensure consistency in educational advice delivery.
· Contributing to strategic discussions around service improvements and client engagement within the education advisory division.
· Engaging in comparative analysis of international education systems to enhance the relevance and accuracy of advice provided.
· The role is well suited to someone with strong experience in student advisory services, a working knowledge of international and UK education pathways, and the ability to communicate clearly with families across cultural contexts.
Qualifications and Experience Required
· A postgraduate qualification (minimum Level 7) in a relevant field such as international education, public policy, or social sciences.
· A strong academic foundation in political or international studies is essential to support the comparative education policy aspect of the role.
· At least 5 years of progressive experience in education services, ideally with an international or cross-cultural focus.
· Experience in designing and delivering strategic educational plans for young learners, including familiarity with UK and international school entry systems.
· Demonstrated ability to liaise with educational institutions, parents, and partner organisations across different jurisdictions.
· A track record of developing education-focused programs, including curriculum planning, staff training, and institutional partnerships.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and cross-cultural communication skills are highly desirable.
· Familiarity with data tools and research techniques relevant to educational monitoring and development.
