Job Opportunity: Early Years Practitioner / Childminder’s Assistant

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Practitioner/Childminder’s Assistant to join our nurturing woodland-based childcare setting in West Newton, Norfolk.
Essential Qualifications:
- Level 3 or higher in Childcare and Early Years or an equivalent qualification.
- GCSE Maths and English (grade C/4 or above).
- Ability to reliably commute or relocate due to limited transport links.
Desirable Criteria:
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Previous experience working in childcare or an early years environment.
- Excellent ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Adaptable and flexible in response to the changing needs of children and the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the daily routines and activities of children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Planning and delivering engaging, stimulating, and age-appropriate activities.
- Monitoring and assessing children's developmental progress, providing feedback to parents and carers.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times, including adherence to health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to maintain a positive, productive atmosphere.
- Communicating clearly and effectively with families about their child’s experiences and achievements.
· Manage daily routines, including meal preparation, nap times, and hygiene practices.
