Location: Twickenham (TW2 5QB)
Position: Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 preferred)
Start Date: ASAP, but definitely by 20th August 2025 (flexible!)
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Hours: 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday), 7:50 AM – 6:10 PM (flexible on days)
Are you passionate about working with little children and already have some childcare experience? At Happy Kid’s Face Nursery, we create a warm, happy environment where children feel safe and loved—and where our team feels like family!
We are looking primarily for someone with a Level 2 childcare qualification and at least 1 year of experience working with children under 1 to 2.5 years old. However, if you don’t yet have formal qualifications but have a genuine passion for childcare and are eager to learn, we’d still love to hear from you. We can offer training and support to help you develop.
What You’ll Do:
- Support children aged under
- Encourage learning through play, music, and outdoor exploration in our beautiful garden
- Build warm, trusting relationships with children and their families
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Assist with mealtimes, daily routines, and nappy changing
- Help document children’s progress through observations and developmental records
- Work as part of a friendly team and communicate kindly with parents
Who We’re Looking For:
- Ideally, someone with a Level 2 childcare qualification and at least 1 year’s hands-on experience with young children
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework and experience planning age-appropriate activities
- Enjoys creative activities like reading stories, sensory play, painting, and crafts
- Comfortable with daily care tasks including nappy changing and maintaining nursery hygiene and safety
- Able to write clear observations and contribute to developmental records
- Warm, patient, and enthusiastic with toddlers
- Confident singing nursery rhymes and joining in play
- Energetic and ready to keep up with active little ones
- Great communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Willing to complete a DBS check if you don’t already have one
- Able to provide two recent childcare-related references
