Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing and educating young children in a safe and stimulating environment. You will play a crucial part in their development, helping them to grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a deep understanding of early childhood education principles.
Duties
- Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
- Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children, encouraging their curiosity and creativity.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's development.
- Manage classroom behaviour in a positive manner, setting clear expectations and boundaries.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents.
- Collaborate with other educators to create an inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs of all children.
- Maintain a safe and clean nursery environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Experience
- A background in early childhood education or childcare is essential.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills to guide and support both children and fellow educators.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing to their growth and development.
- A valid driving licence may be advantageous for transportation purposes related to educational outings or activities.
