Location: Waingels Gardens Day Nursery- RG5 4RF
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Apprenticeship wage- starting from £7.55 per hour
Hours: Variety of shifts available up to 38 hours per week.

About the Role:
As an Early Years Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience while studying towards a nationally recognised qualification in childcare. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and develop your skills in a supportive and nurturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting in the daily care and education of children aged 0-5 years
- Supporting children’s learning and development through play-based activities
- Ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Observing and recording children's progress
- Helping with meals, hygiene routines, and general nursery duties
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- A positive, enthusiastic, and caring attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and complete a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
- GCSEs in English & Maths (desired but not essential)
