Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all areas are kept tidy, safe, and welcoming for both staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and stored correctly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to meet organisational standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve cleanliness goals efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items.
