Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our nurturing environment. The Early Childhood Teacher will manage classroom activities, communicate effectively with parents, and foster a positive learning experience for all children.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment that encourages participation and engagement.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Foster relationships with children to support their individual needs and interests.
- Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment, ensuring all materials are organised and accessible.
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience working with children is essential.
- Proven experience in managing a nursery or similar childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire both children and colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development through play-based learning.
- Knowledge of childcare regulations and best practices is an advantage.
