Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and team members. We also require this team member to operate the trade counter in quieter periods and contribute to the growth of the branch.
Duties
- Operate our van
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of products to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle as necessary.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during transportation.
- Serve and provide support for the trade counter.
- Facilitate restocking of shop goods.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid UK Full Manual License.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Customer service orientated
