So Modular Limited, one of Wales’ leading and largest Timber Frame/Modular Manufacturers, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Crane Driver/ Driver to join our busy team. You will be working closely with the existing Transport and Construction team and reporting to the Contracts Manager’s.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
· Predominantly driving a 40 tonne Mobile Crane to designated sites throughout Wales according to the planned transport programme
· Drive a flatbed rigid occasionally to cover annual leave or sickness
· To lift timber frame and associated parts on various sites across the South Wales
The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:
· Must hold a valid driver’s license – Category C1 or C LGV License
· Must hold a CPCS Blue Card Crane Operator
· Qualification in Plant Operations is essential
· Must hold a valid CPC and digital tachograph
· Previous experience of driving a crane is essential
We are offering a very competitive hourly rate depending on experience and skills. The role is full time and permanent, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 07.45am to 16.30pm and Friday, 07.45am to 15.30pm, however, there will be a requirement to be flexible with the hours of work to suit the project needs, and there will be some early morning starts (6.00am) for projects that are located further away from our base. In addition, you will be entitled to 28 days annual leave (pro rata and inclusive of bank holidays).
