About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Dozer Operative to join our team on an exciting [construction / civil engineering / earthworks] project. The successful candidate will play a key role in site preparation, grading, and general earthmoving duties, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate dozer machinery (e.g. CAT D6/D8 or equivalent) in a safe and efficient manner
- Carry out rough and fine grading, levelling, and earthmoving
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on the machine
- Work closely with groundworkers, site supervisors, and other plant operatives
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs and reports as required
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS card with Dozer category
- Proven experience operating dozers in a construction or civil engineering environment
- Strong awareness of site health and safety practices
- Ability to read site drawings and work to grade
- Good communication and teamwork skills
