Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Assistant to support households in maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English. This role is essential for ensuring that daily domestic tasks are completed efficiently, allowing families to focus on their personal and professional lives.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes.
- Organise household items and ensure that all areas are tidy and well-maintained.
- Prepare simple meals or assist with meal preparation as required.
- Run errands such as grocery shopping or picking up dry cleaning.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to the needs of household members promptly and courteously.
- Communicate effectively with family members to understand their specific requirements and preferences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a domestic assistant or similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for running errands and transporting items as needed.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team when required.
- A caring attitude towards household members and a commitment to maintaining a positive environment.
