An excellent and rare opportunity for a school leaver who is interested in becoming an apprentice dog groomer at a high standard dog grooming salon and training dog grooming school in Chiswick West London for a 18 month apprenticeship.
The successful apprentice will have a keen interest in dogs and will be able to show a high level of care to both the animals and our customers. You will be willing to get stuck into all aspects of the business and be able to work as part of our small team as well as be able to use your own initiative when required. In return, you will gain your Level 2 and 3 Dog Grooming qualifications while earning a full-time
Apprentice roles and duties will include:
- Caring for and walking the salon dogs
- Answering the phone and dealing with booking appointments.
- Preparing dogs for the bath, e.g. brushing and de-matting.
- Supporting the groomer with handling of dogs.
- Bathing, drying and general care of dogs.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the Grooming Salon and regular deep cleaning.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment
Full time position 18 month contract. (35 hours per week). National minimum apprentice wage with 28 days paid annual leave.
Applicants do not need to have any experience but must have a passion for animals and some animal handling experience would be preferred.
