We are looking for a new dog groomer to join our busy salon and team either Full time or Part Time . Employed or would consider self employed as well
We have been established since 2008 and have an excellent reputation in the area.
Ideal candidate will either possess a minimum of 2 yrs experience or for the right person would consider someone who has newly qualified looking for their first position .
Hours available will be based on experience and ability to work independently . We can be open 7 days a week anytime between 8am - 10pm so plenty of flexibility !!
We cater for all breeds and temperaments . Other responsibilities include : diary management, upsales , cleaning, handling payment , providing customer advice.
Ideal Candidate
- Min 2 years experience grooming all breeds of dogs to a high standard
- Experience of diary management - it can feel like playing chess sometimes !
- Calm confident approach with dogs regardless of temperament and behaviour
- Willingness to learn and adapt to Dog House procedures and individual customer requirements.
- Excellent time management skills to complete grooms within appointment timescales
- Great communication , customer service skills and ability to upsale add on services
- Team player , considerate and flexible to help others out - we work in a busy small environment so we all support one another
- Trustworthy , reliable and have a positive can do attitude.
- Pro active , a pride in your work and invested in supporting the business
City and Guild Qualification would be a bonus but is not essential as experience and ability is more important.
Pay and contract
Hourly paid employee - Dependent on experience
