Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Dispensing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient and accurate dispensing of medications and products to our customers. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a qualified pharmacist.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, providing information about products, and assisting with any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the pharmacy.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with reordering supplies as necessary.
- Utilise IT systems effectively to manage patient records and prescriptions.
- Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Basic IT skills, including familiarity with pharmacy management software or similar systems.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and guide team members when required.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks related to medication dispensing.

Pay: £20,800.00-£25,400.00 per year
