JOB TITLE: Digital Fundraising and Community Campaigns Officer

BASE: Hybrid with travel as required

DEPARTMENT: Income Generation & Engagement

REPORTING TO: Head Of Community and Events

WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week

SALARY: £26,431 per annum

Overall purpose of the role:

To plan, deliver and develop North West Air Ambulance Charity’s digital fundraising activity while also designing and delivering campaigns to engage key audience groups. The role will focus on growing income through digital, gaming and influencer channels, as well as developing tailored community fundraising campaigns to engage priority audiences, maximise supporter acquisition and drive income growth.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Take lead responsibility for planning, delivering and evaluating digital fundraising strategies, campaigns and events to grow income via online channels, gaming, livestreaming and other emerging opportunities.
  • Develop and implement creative campaigns and initiatives to engage new and existing supporter groups, meeting income targets, objectives and KPIs in line with the fundraising strategy.
  • Create and manage engaging digital content across social media, email, website, paid advertising and partner channels to support campaigns with consistent, compelling messaging.
  • Monitor developments in digital fundraising, gaming for good, social media trends and influencer marketing. Identify and roll out new approaches to drive innovation and income growth.
  • Identify, build and manage relationships with influencers, streamers and content creators to extend reach, awareness and fundraising opportunities.
  • Provide excellent supporter care and stewardship for online donors, gaming fundraisers, influencers and campaign participants to encourage repeat engagement and long-term support.
  • Monitor campaign and platform performance using CRM, website analytics and social metrics. Report on ROI, key learnings and recommendations to improve results.
  • Work closely with colleagues across fundraising, marketing, retail and communications to ensure joined-up, impactful campaigns and maximise cross-channel opportunities.
  • Ensure all digital fundraising activities comply with fundraising regulations, GDPR and best practice standards as defined by the Fundraising Regulator and the Institute of Fundraising Code of Practice.
  • Plan, develop and implement creative fundraising campaigns and initiatives (both digital and offline) to engage new and existing supporters in key target audiences, such as golf clubs, farming communities, and equestrian groups.
  • Research and identify opportunities to build long-term relationships with priority audience groups, tailoring communication and messaging to their interests and motivations.
  • Produce high-quality campaign materials for both online and offline use, including social media posts, email copy, printed collateral, presentations and supporter resources.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clubs, associations and local networks within target audiences, providing excellent stewardship and support.
  • Work with colleagues across fundraising, marketing, retail and communications to deliver integrated campaigns with consistent messaging and maximum impact.
  • Support the development of new events, partnerships or supporter-led fundraising opportunities that appeal to these specific audience groups.
  • Ensure all fundraising activities are delivered on time, within budget and in line with best practice, the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice and GDPR requirements.

Qualifications
  • 5 x GCSE passes including Maths and English
  • Fundraising Qualification
