Are you an aspiring designer ready for your first creative outlet?
At Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery, we offer a top-quality design experience where our customers’ stories are at the heart of everything we do. With that, we’ve become a leader in bespoke jewellery, with the most UK award wins for our creativity, ethical practices, and innovative approach.
Our Cambridge Studio and Shop, located on the lively and historic Green Street, is seeking a Jewellery Design Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
If you have completed a design related degree in any subject, and ideally have 1 to 2 years of design, or customer facing experience, then this can be your stepping stone into jewellery design.
As a Jewellery Design Assistant you’ll be partnered with an experienced Designer, following their lead, and assisting them throughout the bespoke process: from initial consultations and hand-sketching, to liaising with goldsmiths in our North Hertfordshire workshop. You’ll gain first-hand experience of what it takes to bring a customer’s story to life through a one-of-a-kind design.
We have the UK’s largest team of qualified bespoke jewellery designers, and our training programme and career progression are second to none. When you join our team, you join our journey, united by a shared love of jewellery. Although a background in jewellery isn’t essential, as full training is provided. What matters most is your passion for design, your creative thinking, and your willingness to learn.
This role is ideal for someone who is:
- Practical and a three-dimensional thinker
- A strong communicator with a warm, professional manner
