What you’ll do:
- Be the operational heartbeat of the department of Teaching and Learning and the department of Student Experience, Careers and Tutoring, supporting their strategic and day-to-day success
- Work within two fabulous and friendly teams that have links across the whole of Exeter College to offer the best support possible to our staff and students
- This cross-college role makes an impact across curriculum areas and working with external organisations means that Exeter College’s approach is the best that it can be
- As Operations Officer, you’ll be overseeing project work, manage records and finance, and ensuring great customer service across the many roles that the teams fulfil
- Champion outstanding customer service and act as a key ambassador across the College and with external stakeholders.
- Drive staff development initiatives, from planning sessions to coordinating speakers and tracking impact.
What we’re looking for:
- A detail-driven, proactive organiser who thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently
- Someone able to either work full-time or part-time of 0.8 fte or above
- Someone confident in managing budgets, coordinating projects, and navigating college systems, who is tech-savvy and comfortable working with digital platforms and data systems
- A strong and natural communicator with a passion for building strong relationships and supporting staff and students within an educational setting
- Someone who’s positive and enthusiastic, keen to initiate projects and work with others towards a common goal
