We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organised Dental Receptionist to join our welcoming team at Victoria House Dental Surgery, a well-established, patient-focused dental practice located in the heart of Ivybridge, Devon.

About the Role:
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. You’ll manage the front desk, schedule appointments, handle patient enquiries, and provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients with warmth and professionalism
- Managing the appointment diary efficiently
- Answering phone calls and handling patient queries
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records
- Coordinating with the clinical team to ensure effective workflow
- Ensuring the reception area is tidy and welcoming
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a dental or medical receptionist role preferred (but not essential – training can be provided for the right candidate)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in using computer systems (experience with dental software an advantage)
- A caring and positive attitude towards patients and colleagues
