Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
- Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information about services offered.
- Maintain patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date and confidential.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with accuracy.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management of office supplies.
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or office role is preferred, ideally within a healthcare or dental setting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Proficient in using office software and equipment; familiarity with dental software is an advantage.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
