Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking dental x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for maintaining good oral health
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' oral health, including screening for oral diseases and abnormalities
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures and ensure the comfort and safety of patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment plans
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health principles
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, such as taking and interpreting dental x-rays
- Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating dental prosthetics or restorations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and communicate with patients
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Strong manual dexterity for performing precise dental procedures
