We’re looking for an organised and proactive individual to join our team as a Diary Utiliser. In this key support role, you’ll be responsible for managing our dentists’ diaries, ensuring their time is used efficiently and productively. You’ll help maximise appointment availability, fill any gaps and keep our clinical days running smoothly.
This is a part-time position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment and understands the importance of diary management in a busy dental practice.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the dental practice's appointment diary, ensuring optimal scheduling of patient visits.
- Communicate effectively with patients to confirm appointments, provide reminders and address any queries.
- Collaborate with dental nurses and other staff to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless workflow within the practice.
- Utilise IT systems to input and update patient information accurately.
- Assist in managing patient records in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Support the dental team in administrative tasks as required to enhance operational efficiency.
Skills:
- Proficient in IT systems, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritise workload.
- Must have expeirence of Dentally.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for clear communication with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to communicate empathetically with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout their visit.
- Previous experience in a dental nursing or dental receptionist role is advantageous but not essential.

- Experience in dental or healthcare scheduling is highly desirable
- Familiarity with dental software - Preferably Dentally.
