Uniqa Dental Laboratory is looking for an experienced Ceramist Dental Technician to join our friendly team.
We are an award-winning laboratory established over a decade ago with a reputation for restorative skills and a customer-focused approach. We implement a digital workflow and work with the latest products and equipment. The laboratory itself is spacious, modern, and fully air-conditioned with all the digital technology required.
Located in the heart of Wimbledon, the lab is easy-to-get to with reliable and quick train connections to Waterloo/Vauxhall/Clapham Junction/Earlsfield/Richmond as well as London Underground and trams.
What we are looking for:
- Full-time ceramist with experience delivering ceramic layering, full arch cases, smile design and makeover
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a dental ceramic technician
- To produce between 7 and 9 units per day (ceramics)
- Willingness to adapt to our requirements and standards
- Valid GDC registration is preferred but not required
- Right to work in the UK and working-level English is required
- Attention to detail, creativity and design skills
- High level of expertise and a strong sense of accountability
You will be responsible for:
- Handling our most challenging private cases that involve anterior work, bridges and implant cases, incl. layering, staining, glazing, polishing, and cementation of the final products
- Working with various materials such as metals, ceramics, acrylics, and composites
- Following the specifications and instructions of dentists
- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of the final products
- Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the assigned laboratory equipment and tools
