Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients during deliveries. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
Duties
- Safely operate a flat bed vehicle for deliveries
- Load and unload products, ensuring items are secure during transit
- Follow designated routes and schedules for efficient delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages as required
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation systems
- Experience handling heavy lifting and moving tasks
You will also be required on occasions to work within the workshop assisting with the manufacturing of the staircases when needed. Due to insurance on the company vehicle, this position is only available for someone over the age of 30 years old.
