Overview
We are looking for motivated, reliable, and customer-focused drivers to join our fast-growing logistics operation in Leicestershire. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent service while ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to navigate various routes efficiently.

Role Responsibilities:
- Load and unload your van at the depot
- Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.
- Follow efficient routes to deliver parcels safely, on time, and efficiently
- Maintain a high level of customer service at all times
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Conduct daily routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
- Aged 23+ for insurance purposes
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- Good communication skills and professional outlook
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Able to pass background checks and drug & alcohol testing
Job Type:
Full-time, self-employed contract
Shifts: Up to 5 days per week, approx. 10 hours per day
Skills
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential.
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
