We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations while ensuring the highest level of customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
- Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling of goods before delivery.
Skills
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
- Strong driving skills with the ability to navigate various routes efficiently.
- Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the role.
