7.5 Tonne Drivers
A well-established courier company is looking for reliable 7.5T drivers with CPC and digital tacho for commercial deliveries. This is a temp-to-perm role with long-term potential. Call now: Sarah - 07762 129329
Role Includes:
- 20 drops & collections per day
- Palletised goods with tail lift
Duties
- Operate various types of vehicles including vans and flatbed lorries for deliveries.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and performance.
- Communicate with warehouse staff to coordinate loading and unloading of cargo.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Valid 7.5T licence, CPC & Digi Tacho (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience (preferred)
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely in various conditions.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
