We are currently looking for a reliable and physically fit Delivery Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are a team player, we want to hear from you!
Role Overview:
As a Delivery Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our team by helping with the loading and unloading of pallets from delivery trucks in our stores. This role is crucial to ensuring that our products are received and stocked efficiently, helping us maintain smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in loading and unloading pallets of goods from delivery trucks to the store.
- Ensure that all items are handled with care and placed in the appropriate locations.
- Organize and maintain the delivery area to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Assist with the proper storage of goods once unloaded, ensuring items are stacked safely.
- Help with other tasks as needed, including moving items within the store or assisting with inventory checks.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures during the loading/unloading process.
Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items (pallets, boxes, etc.).
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends or early mornings if necessary.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
