Job Overview:
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-focused Deli Van Merchandiser to join our early morning team. Based at our Ilkeston HQ, you’ll play a vital behind-the-scenes role, preparing and loading our deli vans with freshly made food and drinks, ensuring everything meets our high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and load fresh products into vans
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation inside each van
- Rotate stock and monitor product freshness
- Record waste and sales using a handheld device or paper log
- Adhere to food hygiene and safety guidelines
- Report stock or operational issues to the operations team
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient dispatch
Requirements:
Essential:
- Strong attention to detail
- Organised and reliable
- Comfortable working early mornings
- Physically fit (manual lifting required)
- Full UK driving licence
- Basic numeracy and tech confidence (handheld device use)
Desirable:
- Experience in food delivery, retail, or catering
- Understanding of food hygiene (training provided if needed)
