If the answer is yes, there’s a place in our Customer Service team for you. We are looking for a highly organised Customer Service Advisor to join our friendly family team here at Greenock. Why not use your skills to make a difference and join our McGill’s team. You’ll be talking over the phone to customers with all sorts of inquiries. You could be helping someone with a simple question or something that needs a bit more work and ownership, you’ll be there for the customer supporting them all the way.
What you'll be doing:
- Proven experience in a Customer Service/administrator role
- Exceptional communication skills. You’ll have the ability to engage and build relationships with both internal and external customers
- Comfortable using your own judgment and initiative to make decisions in line with our company policies and pricing structures
- An effective team member with a highly supportive, collaborative approach
- A flexible and adaptable approach, you’ll enjoy a varied work day in a fast-paced operational environment where you’ll manage multiple tasks, deadlines and targets whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy
- A commitment to continuous improvement, puts forward and acts on suggestions to improve processes and service levels
- A good level of computer literacy in MS Office packages. You’ll embrace learning new IT systems and enjoy making the most of technology in your job role
What do you need to bring with you:
- Experience working in a customer service role within a similar environment.
- The ability to communicate across different levels within the business and remain calm under pressure.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of the wider customer service team.
- The ability to resolve challenging customer queries whilst always keeping the end-user experience top of mind.
- Experience in using databases and information management systems in a customer-focused setting.
