Call Assist specialises in providing 24/7 vehicle assistance services, primarily following a breakdown or accident. We reach our customers fast by working with our networks of independent Recovery Operators situated throughout the UK and Europe.
Call Assist works with many companies providing a rescue service on their behalf, either behind their brand or under the Call Assist Rescue brand. To help us to provide the very best service, we are looking for Rescue Co-ordinators to join our Colchester offices.
Job purpose & Training:
· Dealing with inbound calls from customers who require breakdown recovery on behalf of our brand and other partners.
· There is no selling involved and you will not be cold calling.
· Our training is 4 weeks of office-based learning plus 2 weeks live phone training with a mentor.
· This training is fully paid.
Hours:
Various full-time and part-time positions available, candidates must be able to work one permanent weekend shift a week.
Permanent working hours will be agreed in the interview and those hours will commence after the training period. All employees have set shifts and working patterns.
· Start date – October 2025.
Essential skills, knowledge & experience:
· Competent in Microsoft Office user, including Excel, Word and Outlook
· Excellent customer service skills
· Excellent telephone manner
· Excellent attention to detail
· Previous telephone-based call centre experience ideally preferred but not essential
· Please note applicants must have a C/4 or above in GCSE English.

Salary:
The salary is dependent on age:
· 16 to 20 - £10.30 p/h
· 21+ - £12.55 p/h
This position is not commission based
