At Jet2.com we are proud to deliver a VIP Service to our customers. We have a fantastic opportunity as a Customer Helper – Sales Desk & Baggage Tracing at Leeds Bradford Airport on a Secondment basis from Summer 2025!
What will you do as a Customer Helper -Sales Desk & Baggage Tracing?
This role is available on a 40 hour per week secondment basis and is available to our Ground Operations colleagues. As we are always on hand to help our customers, this position involves working on a rostered shift basis and requires flexibility to support our flight programme. Shifts will cover our 24/7 operation and will include working weekends and bank holidays.
The successful candidate will already be demonstrating Role Model behaviours. You will have a genuine passion for delivering great customer service and be able to demonstrate a proven track record in handling customer queries in a fast paced, ground operations environment. Previous experience of successfully meeting sales targets would be beneficial. You will also have a working knowledge of Microsoft Packages including Outlook and Excel, with good numeracy and communication skills. Experience if using systems such as World Tracer would be beneficial.

What will you do as a Customer Helper -Sales Desk & Baggage Tracing?
- Create a great first impression and warm welcome, ensuring that all customers receive a VIP service.
- Play an important role help our customers with flight bookings and additional product sales
- Resolve customer enquiries such as flight changes and escalated queries
- Monitor the queuing system and queue times to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards and operating procedures.
- Offer a dedicated service to ensure we return items to their owners as quickly and efficiently as possible using World Tracer.
- This is a varied and fulfilling role with operational impact and will play a vital part in ensuring we achieve our Sales and Customer Satisfaction targets.
