Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking CSCS Labourer to join our team on construction sites. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various construction activities, ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment on site
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and assist tradespeople as required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by clearing debris and ensuring proper waste disposal
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to the site supervisor immediately
- Participate in site meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications
- Valid CSCS card is essential for this role
- Previous experience in a labouring or construction role is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new skills
- Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
- Awareness of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
- Driving Licence
