Cover Supervisor
Contract: Part Time, Permanent (34 hours per week, 38 weeks per year)
Salary: Grade 4, SP 9-12 (FTE £26,409 - £28,624 / Actual £20,291 - £21,993 per annum)
Start date: September 2025
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled professional to support teaching staff across the full age and ability range. Your main duties will be to provide classroom cover for absent staff, implementing set work, monitoring students and reporting on progress during short-term teacher absence. Previous experience of classroom management is essential.
Samuel Ward is a highly successful oversubscribed 11-18 co-educational comprehensive with 1300 pupils on roll, situated in pleasant surroundings on the western edge of Suffolk – 25 minutes from Cambridge.
