ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
Your role will be to cover staff holiday and sickness at required sites around Motherwell and Hamilton, this could range from office cleaning, shopping malls toilet areas and communal areas. Your duties will involve hoovering, mopping, desk wiping, kitchen cleaning, and toilet cleaning. You will empty waste and top up consumables. You must have good attention to detail and high standards of cleaning. You will be responsible for disinfecting areas as per planner.
Haven your own transport would be an advantage but not essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Dusting, wiping, and disinfecting desks and all surfaces
- Scrubbing kitchens and toilets
- Hoovering and mopping floors
- Disinfecting all high touch points
- Detail work i.e. skirtings, sills, fixtures etc
- Following group and company policies and procedures
- Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
- Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.
