An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Course Leader for Electrical and Mechanical to join our Construction, Engineering and Service Industries team reporting to our Curriculum Manager in this area. This department is a fast paced, broad department with a wide variety of subjects and provision available. We are fully committed to delivering quality teaching and learning and wholly student centred.

As a Course Leader for Electrical and Mechanical with Redcar and Cleveland College you will be responsible for leading a course(s) and contribute to the review, planning and development of the curriculum. Develop new courses, curricula and/or methods of delivery, in collaboration with employers. To be responsible for student retention, attendance, achievement, success rates, value added, progression and destinations for named courses/cohorts of students. The delivery of all aspects of Electrical and Mechanical related courses. To support apprenticeship delivery, recruitment and monitoring. The ideal candidate will be a time served Electrician with strong industry experience and a proven track record of delivering engineering provision. Knowledge and experience of current working practises in the relevant discipline, with a clear focus on quality of education for our students and their aspirations to achieve beyond their expectations.
