Are you an experienced cook with a passion for preparing fresh, delicious food in a friendly café atmosphere? We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cook/Catering Assistant to join our team and help deliver a warm, welcoming experience to our customers.
Your Role:
- Prepare and cook a variety of café-style dishes, including breakfasts and lunches.
- Support daily food prep and assist with stock rotation and kitchen cleanliness.
- Serve and replenish food, serve a variety of coffees and hot and cold drinks.
- Maintain excellent customer service and assist with preparing for the day ahead and close down at the end of the day
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met.
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a café, bistro, or similar catering role.
- Ideally to be barista trained
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Friendly, team-oriented attitude with a passion for good food.
