Responsibilities
- Set up workstations and kitchen area for service
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using a range of equipment
- Ensure food and other items are correctly stored
- Monitor stock and place orders as required
- Prepare and cook food safely, adhering to safe food handling
- Present dishes to an excellent standard before service
- Maintaining a clean and sanitised working environment
- Maintains appropriate date, labelling and rotation of all food items
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience as a cook
- Experience of using a range catering appliances and methods to cook food
- Food Hygiene qualification
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
- Very good communication skills
- Ability to follow all food safety policies and procedures in place
- Ability to work as part of team in an exceptionally busy kitchen 160 covers
- Ability to fulfill orders in a timely manner
