Clearway Technology is a leading NSI Gold Accredited monitoring centre, dedicated to providing top-tier security services. We are currently expanding our team and are looking for dynamic individual to join us as Control Room Operative.
No experience necessary: Clearway Technology are committed to providing the necessary training and support to help you excel in your role.
Working Hours: 4 days on, 4 days off - 12-hour shifts comprising of both days and nights from 6 am to 6 pm and 6 pm to 6 am on a 4 on 4 off rotational basis. Overtime opportunities are also available.
Purpose of the Role
You will play a crucial role in our state-of-the-art monitoring centre. You will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security alarms and incidents, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' assets and properties, along with answering incoming phone calls and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactive Monitoring: Actively monitor incoming CCTV, Intruder, and Fire Alarms to ensure timely and appropriate responses.
- Answering Incoming Phone Calls: Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism and efficiency.
- Providing excellent customer service to clients.
- Produce accurate reports as required.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Good Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service, including clear communication and problem-solving skills.
- Computer Literacy: A solid working understanding of computers and the ability to navigate relevant software and systems.
- Teamwork: Strong teamwork skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility: Willingness and flexibility to work nights, days, and weekends as per the roster.
- Security Clearance: Successful completion of a security clearance check is a mandatory requirement.
- Education: GCSE or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
- Continuous Learning: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and security protocols.
- Valid SIA Public Space Surveillance Licence (CCTV): A valid CCTV SIA licence is required for this role. Clearway Technology will fund the course and licence fees for successful candidates.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Excellent attention to detail and observation skills.

- Salary: £28,086pa + benefits
- Fixed-term contract: one year
