Content Writer
Location: Based in Morecambe, Lancashire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Salary: £25,000–£35,000 negotiable depending on experience
Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays
Contract: Full-time, permanent
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and versatile Content Writer to join our busy marketing team. This role goes beyond just writing – it involves working directly with clients, supporting internal admin processes, and contributing to a wide range of digital and print content. If you're confident communicating, organised, and creative, this could be a perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Write SEO-optimised website content for a range of industries
- Produce engaging content for social media platforms
- Write copy for traditional marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and leaflets
- Conduct client meetings in person and via phone to gather project information
- Collaborate with the web and design teams to ensure content fits within larger digital strategies
- Update CRM and workflow systems with notes on client meetings and new tasks
- Assist with general administrative duties including answering calls and messages
Essential Skills and Experience
- Strong portfolio of written work across digital and (ideally) print platforms
- Confident knowledge of SEO writing principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to plan and conduct design meetings with clients
- Organised, efficient, and able to juggle multiple deadlines
- Comfortable using basic digital tools and admin systems (training provided on CRM/workflow)
