About the Role
Westmann Contracts is seeking a Skilled Concrete Repairer to join us on a 3-month contract at a prominent site in Northampton. The role involves supporting the delivery of essential remedial works, focusing on structural defect repairs within a live multi-storey car park (MSCP).
This is a hands-on role requiring excellent workmanship, attention to detail, and full compliance with health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out structural concrete repairs to red, amber and green risk items in accordance with the structural engineer’s report and recommendations.
- Maintain a safe, tidy and well-organised working area with minimal disruption to site users.
- Work closely with the site supervisor to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of all tasks.
Requirements
- CSCS Card (essential).
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a construction-related discipline (essential).
- Proven experience in concrete repairs, remedial works and general building.
- Ability to interpret and follow repair specifications and engineering instructions.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements on live construction sites.
- Additional certifications (desirable): Asbestos Awareness, First Aid, Manual Handling.
