Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Concrete Finisher ideally with multi trade ground working to join us working on a full-time basis across sites in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing techniques and possess the necessary skills to ensure high-quality results on various projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up work areas for concrete pouring, including the installation of forms and reinforcement materials.
- Experience of excavation preffered
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete according to specifications, ensuring a high standard of quality.
- Measure, cut, and assemble formwork materials such as wood, metal, and plastic
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to shape and smooth surfaces.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the handling of materials and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, and specifications accurately and implement on site
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to finished surfaces as necessary.
- Works will be in the utility sector
The role requires you to carry out works to a high standard as detailed in the work packs or instructed by the supervisor/line manager.
A working knowledge and understanding of the building/maintenance trade is essential. Ideally you will also have the following;
- CSCS Card
- An in date First Aid Qualification
- An in date Manual Handling Qualification
- Abrasive Wheel Qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence preferably with towing
We are looking for an immediate start and your earning potential can be increased with weekend overtime, paid at a rate of time and a half on Saturdays and double time on Sundays.
Hourly Rate PAYE £13 to 15
CIS Hourly Rate £15 to 17
